Terms of Use
These terms explain the conditions for participating in the BrassFlow musical practice MVP. Also read the Privacy Policy to understand how data is used.
Who provides BrassFlow
BrassFlow is an independent project operated by Victor Augusto Januário da Cruz as an individual. There is no registered company yet. Use the contact below for support, questions about these terms and requests.
Scope and development stage
The MVP provides guided individual practice for Bb trumpet, Bb cornet and Bb flugelhorn, with exercises, a tuner and progress tracking. Exercises are shared across these instruments and calibration is maintained per instrument. Complete school and teacher workflows and other instruments are not part of the current offering. Features, metrics and plans may change during testing.
Free beta
The MVP is free, subject to available places. There is no paid subscription, automatic charge or obligation to buy a future version. This is not a promise of permanent free access: any future paid offering will have its own price and conditions, presented before you expressly subscribe or purchase.
Account and acceptable use
Use accurate information, protect your credentials, and do not use the app to access other people's data, exploit vulnerabilities, distribute unlawful content or disrupt the service. Access may be limited or suspended for abuse or security risks. Where possible, we will communicate the reason and provide support contact details for clarification.
Participation by minors
The MVP is not directed at children. Minors should use BrassFlow with responsible adult supervision, who may request information or deletion through the privacy contact.
Microphone and technical requirements
Tuning and validation depend on a compatible device and browser and your microphone permission. Sound is analyzed on your device. Noise, microphones and usage conditions may affect results; some features require connectivity and offline synchronization may be delayed. You can revoke microphone permission in your browser.
Limits of musical feedback
Scores, metrics and recommendations are estimates to support practice, not certifications or guarantees of musical improvement. They do not replace individual teacher guidance. Respect your limits and take breaks; do not treat app goals as an obligation to continue uncomfortable practice.
Content and submitted feedback
Access to available content is granted for personal study within the app; it does not transfer ownership of materials or authorize commercial exploitation. Your data and messages do not become BrassFlow's property. Suggestions may be used for support and product improvement without automatic authorization to publish your name, contact details or testimonial. Do not submit content you have no right to use, sensitive data or third-party information.
Privacy and optional choices
Data processing follows the Privacy Policy. Agreeing to these terms does not constitute analytics consent. Analytics and reminders are optional, with separate controls. You can change your choices and request data access, correction or deletion.
Availability, changes and closing your account
The beta may have errors, interruptions and feature changes. We may adjust or discontinue features for maintenance, security or development. Material changes to these terms and planned discontinuation will be communicated in the app or through registered contact details, in advance where feasible; urgent security situations may require immediate action. You may stop using the service and delete your account in your profile. The scope of deletion and necessary retention are explained in the Privacy Policy.
Preserved rights
These terms are governed by Brazilian law without excluding mandatory rights applicable to the user. The experimental and free nature of the service does not remove legal responsibilities or your data protection rights. Questions and problems can be sent to support.
